Anton Sazonov was born in 1989 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Now he lives and works in Moscow.
First obtained a degree in economics, later graduated from the Pro Arte School of Cultural journalism. Also finishing a directing course at the Moscow Film School, the workshop of Alexey Popogrebsky. Since he had a directing internship with Kirill Serebrennikov while staging the play “Little Tragedies" by Alexander Pushkin at the Gogol Center Theater.
Short film “The impasse" is his graduation work from film school. Short film “Leave Of Absence“ has been selected for the “Pardi di domani“ competition of the 72nd Locarno Film Festival.
Outside of the film industry he works in commercials. In Russia Anton is represented by talent agency Syndicate.
Currently, he is working on his first feature film.
